PIL Refresher
Keep your knowledge current and reinforce your responsibilities as a Personal Licence holder under the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 (ASPA).
This interactive refresher workshop reviews key legislative requirements, Standard Conditions, severity assessment, non-compliance and ethical decision-making. Using recent ASRU case studies and regulatory developments, delegates will explore common compliance issues, lessons learned and practical approaches to maintaining high standards of animal welfare and scientific practice.
The course also revisits the 3Rs and the harm–benefit assessment process, helping delegates reflect on their role in promoting a culture of compliance, good animal welfare and continuous improvement.
