In addition, we provide three months access after the course to allow time to read, download or bookmark resources that will help a new licensee. IT Requirements To participate, each delegate will need access to the internet and a laptop/PC with a webcam and microphone. If you have a mobile device, such as a smart phone, please have this to hand to participate in the interactive exercises, if you do not have one you can open a new page in your web browser. Theory Assessment The online theory assessment can be booked via your E-Learning account. We advise that you book the first available slot after your theory course. You will be able to view your theory assessment results via your E-Learning account following submission of your assessments. Your webcam must remain on throughout the course and during the theory assessments. Practical Skills Information On successful completion of the theory assessments, you will need to arrange your practical skills training and assessment (where applicable). The practical skills components (PIL A and PIL C) must be completed before an application/amendment to a personal licence can be made; these components should be completed within 3 months of the theory course start date. Download the ‘Trainer and Assessor Guide’ and ‘Direct Observation of Practical/Procedural Skills’ (DOPS) form/s for the appropriate species/course. This information can be found in your e-learning account and should be given to your NTCO (Named Training and Competency Officer). Assessments must be performed by a suitable individual at your establishment with the appropriate authority, seniority, or expertise, such as a Named Person (PIL A: NACWO and/or NTCO and PIL C: NVS and/or NTCO). Note for new establishment customers: your NTCO will be contacted at booking to ensure practical skills training and assessment can be provided. On successful completion of the skills assessment and on return of the completed DOPS form/s, TLC will apply for your certificate, which will be emailed to you.
